Hi there!
My name’s Don D’Souza and I’m currently working with Engineers Without Borders (Canada), partnered with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in northern Ghana. After graduating with a degree in Chemical-Environmental engineering, I spent five years working in the environmental consulting industry before deciding on a career change to a more people focused position overseas. EWB is doing great work in Ghana and across Africa, focusing on strengthening organizations and local capacity and I’m excited to be a part of these efforts in the Agricultural sector here.
This blog is going to be a place to keep track of my thoughts and ideas about development work, the agricultural sector and just general musings about living in Ghana (hint: it’s hot). I’m hoping to write at least a post every week, but no promises.
